1929-1968

Dr. Martin Luther King - An icon for american civil right leadership who supported the "Dream",and gave his life for the "Dream" in effort for civil liberties for all people was born this day, in the year 1929. Dr. King attributed civil right movements and lead by doing and showing that peace,love,and civil obedience were the means of promoting and petitioning peace which are proved to be the principals to spread change. The legacy of Dr. King is timelessly remarkable and his work will never go unnoticed. The work of Dr. King is the inspiration for may scholars from all subjects of school and life including me.


Therefore my inspiration to paint Dr. King on a 11x14 canvas was essential. An Alla Prima approach with oil. In addition to my painting is a short video of the Dr.King monument
